Bee Cave Elementary School asks everyone
who volunteers to keep track of the number of hours they work.
Logging your volunteer hours is very important because our
school is "graded" according to the number of volunteer
hours logged.
What counts as volunteer hours?
Any work that you do for the school, teachers or staff, the
library, committee meetings or service, special projects,
the PTO, or any time spent working with the students of Bee
Cave qualifies as volunteer work. Any work done outside
of school counts too.
How do I record my hours?
Our new RAPTOR campus security system makes it easy.
For in-school service:
RAPTOR will automatically record your volunteer hours as long
as you sign in and out as a volunteer (signing in as a visitor
does not count towards volunteer time).
For out-of-school service:
Since RAPTOR can't record out-of-school hours, you must record
these hours separately at www.v-volunteer.com.
You will have to have Tricia Braddocks
at the front office scan your ID to set up an account.
This is only for the volunteer time you
contribute outside the school.
There is a "Volunteer Log Book"
at the Receptionist's desk in the BCE Office where you can
log your hours. Be sure to log your hours worked, whether
at school, or away from the school.
Not only is it important for grants and
other funding, but LTISD recognizes all volunteers who have
reached 100 hours with an activities pass to all LTISD sponsored
events.
